WHEN HERITAGE TEXTILE ART MEETS JEWEL TECH FUTURE
During Milan Design Week 2026, the Illulian flagship showroom in Milan became the stage for a unique creative encounter. The heritage and intricate craftsmanship of Illulian’s high-end textile art met the cutting-edge aesthetic of MOCI Collective, a brand defining a new category of “Jewel Tech” art accents.
The space was transformed into a curated gallery where sculptural forms and traditional weaving techniques intertwined. The furniture pieces by MOCI — characterized by the signature Crystal-Resin and a fusion of technical precision and precious materiality — were placed in dialogue with Illulian’s rugs. The installation explored the contrast between the fluid, light-capturing transparency of MOCI’s creations and the deep, tactile richness of Illulian’s textiles. It was an exercise in balance, where “Jewel Tech” design acted as an art accent, elevating the surrounding space and offering a fresh perspective on contemporary living.
This collaboration highlighted how the dialogue between design innovation and centuries-old tradition can shape modern interiors. By placing sculptural, avant-garde pieces onto historical textile canvases, the installation offered a reflection on the future of collectible design, where material experimentation meets the timeless soul of the rug.
